I photograph exclusively on film. As an aficionado of old, analog photo technique, I have, amongst others, some ROLLEIFLEX medium format cameras. Amazing, the performance of these old, twin lens models which can only be operated manually. Many of the pictures shown here were taken with a ROLLEIFLEX AUTOMAT from 1954 or another really old but fully functional ROLLEIFLEX model from 1932. The manual operation takes practice, and even looking through the dark viewfinder complicates work with this type of camera. For 35mm film I use a LEICA R5 model. The camera is small, light-weight, handy and easy to use. Other camera models are in use as well for example the 6x7 medium format rangefinder camera MAMIYA 7 II. For me the best medium format camera that I can think of. Sure it is hard to afford but quality has its price, alone the unthinkable super quiet shutter release it is worth. It is much quieter than even the Leica M cameras.
